March 2006 Renee's Month

Renee was the giver for March - getting a total of R2000.00 to give away. She decided to split this and give to two people:

1. John Grant goes to Lesotho's mountains every three months to the places most agencies dont get to. He takes food and clothes and other neccessities to needy people there. Renee gave John R1000.00.

2. Amanda is a widow with two kids - 16 and 9. She lives in Brixton and stands at a street corner every day asking for donations so she can take care of herself and her two kids. Renee handed over R1000.oo Amanda said she would spend it on school books and clothes.

And though Amanda did get a little teary eyed, Renee didnt cry like some girls... called Jodie.

Caroline is the next giver, and the meeting is on Thursday the 4th of May at her house :-)
